This Photopolymer Art Print is part of a limited edition of 10.
Susanna's illustrations are a combination of botanical and animal drawings. She uses a black biro on watercolour paper as it has greater texture. The illustrations are delicate and detailed and there is a lot of emphasis on the contrast of the image using deep blacks next to very subtle light greys.
This one has a Chrysanthemum flower growing from its body creating a landscape inside the fish. Printed on beautiful Fabriano Rosaspina Arborio paper which has a warm, off white tone. It measures 18 x 25 cm
Photopolymer is a traditional printmaking technique that uses a photosensitive film attached on a metal plate. Once the film is developed with a positive transparency of the image one wishes to print the plate is then hardened and used in a conventional etching way.
PLEASE NOTE, PRINTS ARE SOLD UNFRAMED.
