Monotyping is a technique that produces a unique print, or monotype.
Made by drawing on a plate, usually glass or perspex, with a greasy substance like oil paint, the image is then transferred onto a sheet of paper by pressing the two together, usually using a printing-press.
Monotypes are interesting for their unique textural qualities and we love to observe the details in Mabe’s artwork and feel the energy of the strokes. Sizes vary from 42 cm x 31 cm to 50 cm x 36 cm
Dark, abstract and very emotional, prints from this series are the kind of wall art that is perfect for a minimal space.
PLEASE NOTE, PRINTS ARE SOLD UNFRAMED.
